The Cottontown / Bellevue Historic
District Neighborhood Association was established in the late 1970’s to
promote city living by improving neighborhood and community relations
and by protecting the neighborhood and community from deterioration.
The neighborhood remains today as an
intact example of one of the earliest planned suburban residential
neighborhoods in Columbia whose appearance has been largely unaltered by
the passage of time.
Our neighborhood is bounded by Elmwood Avenue, Main
Street, Grace Street, and Bull Street in Columbia, SC.
